Piano: JP Schlegelmilch
Live Sampling: Michael Clemow

Waver collapses an electroacoustic composition process of recording, editing and manipulating recorded material into a realtime step in order to create space for improvisation using an acoustic piano and digital live-sampling instruments.

Waver's latest piece, the 8-channel Analemma, was presented at the NYC Electroacoustic Music Festival on Wednesday, June 15th 2016 at Abrons Art Center in Lower Manhattan.

Below is a two-channel, binaural version of the piece. It is designed to be listened to using headphones, although you can also use speakers.  For best results, sit in a darkened room or close your eyes when listening.
